谷村新司 Shinji Tanimura

King of Japanese music since the 70s...His music touched many ppl
unknowingly..many of his works were redone by HK artists in the
late 70s throughout the 80s..
but his greatest still has to be Subaru(昴) in 1980..

singers too..but my fav cover has to be 关正杰's cantonese
version 星..Mr Tanimura wrote it with the star group
Pleiades in mind..(FYI Pleiades also known as M45 or the Seven
Sisters - is the name of an open cluster in the constellation
of Taurus.It is 440 light yrs away from earth)It was a dark
sombre take at life in comparison to the stars...

they held the "PAX MUSICA" concert around asia since 1984 till
1994 annually for charity in the name of world peace..amazin..
these guys shud fuckin get the nobel peace award...
